How Can We Help?
Claim-Your-Ticket options
Claim-Your-Ticket is a unique feature that helps organizers collect more attendee data by controlling how ticket buyer sharing and attendee ticket claiming is handled after purchase. When setting up a Ticket Bundle, the organizer can make Claim-Your-Ticket optional or required. Selecting “required” will help the organizer collect 100% of attendee data.
- Ticket claiming by the attendee is optional
Display barcodes on individual admission tickets immediately after purchase. - Ticket claiming by the attendee is required
Display barcodes after the attendee claims an individual admission ticket shared by the buyer.
Optional
With optional, barcodes are displayed on individual tickets immediately after purchase. The ticket bundle buyer is invited to share individual tickets in their package with attendees, and individual attendees are encouraged to claim their tickets by entering the information requested by the organizer.
Select this option if you are bundling tickets for a single person (i.e., Multi-Day) or do not need to collect 100% of attendee data.
How it works:
- Watch the video
- The ticket bundle Buyer receives an email with a link to access and share tickets via their Ticketstripe wallet.
- This link does not require setting a password or an account.
- The Buyer can send individual tickets electronically by entering the names and email addresses of recipients.
- Alternatively, the Buyer can print all tickets in their bundle and share them physically.
Claimed Tickets
- The Recipient of an electronically shared ticket will receive an email with a link to claim their ticket.
- Recipients are required to fill in the information requested by the Organizer to claim their individual e-tickets. By default, Ticketstripe requires a First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Phone Number as shown in the Claim Ticket screen below:
- Once claimed, the ticket will display the Recipient’s information and the bundle it is a part of i.e., “Part Of: Package of 5”.
Unclaimed Tickets
- Unclaimed tickets will display the name of the Buyer and the name of the bundle, i.e., “Part Of: Package of 5”.
- If desired, the Organizer can collect information from attendees at the event.
Required
This option will help the organizer collect 100% of attendee data as the ticket bundle buyer must share individual tickets in their package, and individual attendees must claim their tickets by entering the information requested by the organizer.
