How to use Ticket Bundles

The ticket bundles/packages feature has various uses. Below we’ll share the most common.

1. Table/Group Tickets
2. Sponsor Donations
3. Promotional Tickets

Table or Group Tickets

You are selling a table ticket that seats 10 people, but the person buying the table ticket doesn’t have all the attendee info at the time of purchase. You need to be able to track the individual table seat tickets and collect each attendee’s information.

Our Ticket Bundle functionality helps organizers do just that:

  • Capture more attendee data digitally
  • Store user data in one centralized, secure location that is easy to use or export

To create a Table Ticket:

1. First create the individual table seat ticket

    • Click into your event
    • Click on Tickets from the left menu
    • Click the +Ticket button
    • Enter the information for this ticket. If you do not plan to sell individual table seats separately, then set the quantity to zero.
    • Click Save

2. Next create the Table Ticket.

    • Click the +Ticket button
    • We recommend using a descriptive title that specifies how many seats/tickets this item includes i.e. Table Ticket (Seats 10)
    • Click the More Options button and complete all relevant details
    • Tick the box next to Bundle/Package Ticket

    • From the Admission Ticket drop down, select the Table Seat Ticket and set the Quantity to 10 as shown below

What happens next?

  • Table ticket buyers will receive an email with a link to manage their tickets. This link does not require setting a password and will be valid for 30 days. If their link expires, they can click the “Generate a New Link” button.
  • Table ticket buyers will be able to distribute tickets via their Ticketstripe dashboard by entering email addresses to the intended recipient.
  • Ticket recipients are required to fill in information requested by the organizer to claim their individual e-ticket.
  • If a ticket recipient is unable to attend the event, this ticket can be redistributed by the Table Ticket Purchaser or the organizer.

In this example, the organizer will create a Gold Sponsor donation. The suggested donations will be for $2k and $3k. The donor will receive:

  • 1 Table ticket (seats 10 people)
  • 2 VIP tickets with after hour party access

The ticket bundle functionality enables the organizers to assign the two ticket items above to this donation. Here is how to create this Sponsor bundle donation item:

1. First create the tickets or items you want to bundle into the Gold Sponsor donation

2.  Click on Donations from the left menu

3.  Click the +Donations button
