USING STRIPE FOR YOUR TICKET SALES

The Ticketstripe and Stripe integration gives our customers the advantage of lower credit card fees and fast direct deposits; within 2 days of every order. To start selling tickets using Stripe, follow the simple steps below. The entire process will only take a few minutes.

1 Login to your Ticketstripe account and click “My Account” from the top menu.

2 Click on “Payment” to get to your Payment Options page. Then, Click “Connect with Stripe” and you will be taken to a secure Stripe registration page.

3 If you already have a Stripe account, you can choose to “Sign in”. Otherwise, please fill out the form below so you can start accepting credit card payments with Stripe.

Business Address and Phone – this should be information of the organization collecting credit card payments for the tickets to the event, or if you are an individual organizer, enter your personal information.

Type of business – choose type of business.

Employer Identification Number (EIN) – EIN is optional if you are an individual organizer.

4 Enter your Website’s address if you have one or you can use a link to your social profile.

Business Description – choose an option that best describes your business. Popular choices are:

  • Entertainment and recreation > Event ticketing
  • Membership organizations > Charities or social service organizations
  • Food and drink > Restaurants and nightlife

How long after paying will your customers typically receive their goods or services? – Most popular choice: Within 2 weeks.

This is an estimate and will depend on when the majority of your attendees purchase tickets. Even though you can start selling tickets at any time, even a year in advance, majority will purchase tickets weeks or even days before the event.

5 Fill in Your Details. This will change depending on the business type.

6 Statement descriptor – enter information you want your attendees to see on their credit card statement. This can be your organization’s name or, if you have a singular annual event, the name of your event.

Support phone number – phone number you want your attendees to call with questions about a charge on their statement. If you do not have one, you can use Ticketstripe’s support number: (310) 870-3737

7 Enter Bank details where you want deposits to be made for online ticket sales.

8 Enter your Mobile number, email and choose a password.  To protect your account, this mobile number will receive a text message with a code required to login from new devices.

Note, this is not the same email and password you use with Ticketstripe. Ticketstripe and Stripe are separate companies. You can use a different email and password here.

Finally, clicking “Authorize access to this account” will allow Ticketstripe to process your online ticket sales using this Stripe account.
